The trade in which Josiane serves takes its roots in the shamanic tradition of her native country, Corsica, France.
In 1964 she experienced a powerful shamanic initiation through a near death experience when she became aware of her abilities to communicate with the world of the unseen. In 2002 she received an award for her role as a bridge between cultures and dimensions, and was publicly recognized as a Corsican shaman in the country of her ancestors.
For 40 years Josiane has worked with the living and the dying, in hospitals as a chaplain, universities as a teacher, as a spiritual counselor, a healer and a ceremonial leader. Her compassionate nature and understanding of living, dying and the spiritual realms has touched many lives.
