About Ray:
As a practitioner of shamanic healing arts and ceremonies, Ray has apprenticed in the Mazatec tradition of Central America and, beginning in 2001, began his apprenticeship with indigenous healers and ceremonialists in the 3 major regions of Peru, including an in-depth apprenticeship with don Oscar Miro-Quesada, renowned curandero and ceremonialist from Peru. Ray also studied with Angeles Arrien, noted cultural anthropologist, writer and creator of the Four Fold Way program.
As a result of the many experiences and wisdom teachings received during this time Ray offers services to others through his teaching, healing and ceremonial practices. In addition, Ray leads group sojourns to Peru and has traveled extensively performing ceremony and ritual in Europe and Israel.
Ray assisted in the formation and served on the Board of Directors of the Heart of the Healer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the unique cultures, ceremonies and wisdom teachings of indigenous peoples around the world.
